Sekretariat membawahi 3 Sub Bagian :
Sekretaris mempunyai tugas mengarahkan penyusunan program kerja; mengelola urusan keuangan, kepegawaian, persuratan, kearsipan, rumah tangga, perlengkapan, dokumentasi dan informasi; mengkoordinasikan pengidentifikasian produk hukum daerah serta menginventarisir permasalahan kelembagaan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan.

Untuk melaksanakan tugas tersebut sekretaris menyelenggarakan fungsi : 
  1. penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan tugas sekretariat;
  2. penyusunan rencana program kerja dan anggaran belanja Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan;
  3. penyelenggaraan urusan tata usaha kantor, rumah tangga dinas, urusan perlengkapan dan urusan kepegawaian di lingkungan Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan;
  4. pengkoordinasian penyelenggaraan tugas Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan dan memberikan pelayanan administrasi kepada bidang-bidang lain di lingkungan Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan;
  5. pelayanan informasi publik di bidang perindustrian dan bidang perdagangan;
  6. pengkoordinasian proses identifikasi produk hukum daerah;
  7. pengkoordinasian dan pengidentifikasian permasalahan pada bidang teknis dalam melaksanakan tugas fungsi serta pelaksanaan fasilitasi dalam penyelesaian permasalahan pada Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan;
  8. menghadiri rapat-rapat kedinasan sesuai disposisi Kepala Dinas;
  9. pengevaluasian pelaksanaan tugas Sekretariat;
  10. penyusunan laporan pelaksanaan tugas Sekretariat; dan
  11. pelaksanaan tugas lain yang diberikan Kepala Dinas.
