Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu melalui Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Bengkulu Selama Ramadhan 1440 H Tahun 2019 melaksanakan Kegiatan Pasar Murah yang bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat untuk memperoleh barang kebutuhan pokok murah dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat dengan cara mendekatkan produsen/distributor kepada konsumen/masyarakat sehingga alur distribusi menjadi lebih efektif, kali ini Kegiatan Pasar Murah tersebut dipusatkan di Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu dan berlangsung selama 2 hari yaitu tanggal 27 s/d 28 mei 2019.


Acara di buka oleh ibu ketua tim penggerak PKK Provinsi Bengkulu yg di wakili oleh ibu Ny. Musiardanis. Laporan ketua panitia penyelenggara oleh Kepala Bidang Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Disperindag Prov. Bengkulu Bapak Alpha Rizal Fadlan, SE., M.Si.


Kegiatan Pasar Murah ini turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Prov. Bengkulu, Bapak H. Lierwan, SE.  Camat Kampung Melayu, Lurah se-kecamatan Kampung Melayu, Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Masyarakat Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu, yang mana Disperindag Provinsi Bengkulu mengikutkan para Distributor seperti PT. PPI, Indofood, Wahana tirtasari, Toko Patan, Sungai Budi, Toko Maju jaya, Hypertmart, UKM Pelangi Food, UKM Ende.


Pada Kesempatan ini turut diserahkan 45 paket sembako untuk keluarga pra sejahtera yang merupakan batuan dari ketua tim penggerak PKK Prov. Bengkulu.
