Dalam kurun waktu satu minggu, Kawasan Industri Kreatif Dekranasda Provinsi Bengkulu dikunjungi oleh Ketua Dekranas RI, Ibu Hj. Mufidah Jusuf Kalla dan Ketua Harian Dekranas RI, Ibu Erni Tjahjo Kumolo sebagai bentuk apreasiasi besar atas dikembangkannya kawasan dekranasda sebagai pusat industri kreatif daerah. Kunjungan kerja Ketua Dekranas RI, Ibu Mufidah Jusuf Kalla didampingi langsung oleh Ketua Dekranasda Provinsi Bengkulu, Ibu Derta Wahyulin Rohidin, Asisten II Ibu Yuliswani, SE, MM dan Kepala Dinas Perindustrian Perdagangan, Bapak. H. Lierwan, SE pada Minggu, 17 Februari 2019.

Wujud nyata perhatian KETUA DEKRANAS RI juga ditunjukkan dengan mengunjungi seluruh Anjungan Kabupaten/Kota. Ibu Mufidah Jusuf Kalla menyempatkan diri berbincang dengan para pengurus Dekranasda Kabupaten/Kota dan pengrajin di setiap Anjungan Kabupaten/Kota sekaligus memberi pengarahan dan motivasi untuk terus berkarya, berinovasi menghasilkan produk unggulan daerah yang berdaya saing tidak hanya ditingkat lokal, namun juga di pasar nasional dan internasional.

Pada kunjungan tersebut, Ibu Hj. Mufidah Jusuf Kalla menyempatkan diri melihat dan berbelanja produk unggulan daerah mulai dari batik, tenun, kerajinan lantung dan aneka produk makanan khas daerah seperti kopi dan kalamansi serta mencicipi kopi bengkulu yang terkenal dengan kualitasnya serta sirup kalamansi yang memiliki citarasa unik.

Pada akhir kunjungannya, Ibu Mufidah Jusuf Kalla menyatakan bahwa pengembangan Kawasan Industri Kreatif Dekranasda Provinsi Bengkulu akan menjadi model pengembangan kawasan dekranasda kedepan dimana menyatukan pusat kriya dengan pusat industri kreatif dalam satu kawasan
